Past Katrina

How many times have you started something with the intention to go back to it later in the day to finish it? You only realize that you didn’t finish it when its “undone-ness” causes a problem.

My husband and I joke about how the past versions of us are jerks because they do things that makes present us inconvenienced.

Like what?

I’m so glad you asked.

Like leave unfolded clothes on bed.  The intention is to come back and fold them later in the day or do this “one thing” and come right back. It generally never happens. We usually forget until bedtime when we really are not about that folding clothes life. LOL!

Or, what about making Saturday doctor appointments? Now, realistically, with kids you have to do that sometimes, so they don’t miss class. But past me should have known months ago when the appointment was made (and forgotten) that present me did not want to leave the house on this Saturday to go to an appointment. LOL!

Recently, past Katrina was acting up big time. She signed up for a webinar that was at 6:00 in the morning on a Friday! What was she thinking?!? Present Katrina vetoed that meeting! Hahaha!

Sometimes, past me can be helpful. Like when you pack a snack for yourself and your kids because you KNOW that even though you told them to, they won’t pack their own snack. The day is saved because thanks to past you, present you won’t have to deal with hangry kids. LOL!

Past me sounds like a Sour Patch Kid; first she’s sour, then she’s sweet. LOL!

What are some things that past versions of you have done that makes you chuckle?

If you feel inclined to share, head over to the Facebook page and let’s chat.
